I first met Kevin Costner at Orion Pictures’ West Coast offices in Century City, Calif., in the fall of 1986. Principal photography had wrapped in July on Director Roger Donaldson’s “No Way Out,” which was based on the 1946 novel, “The Big Clock,” by Kenneth Fearing.
